LSE Band Uniform Wearing Guidelines
The word uniform, by definition, means "remaining the same in all cases; unchanging in form or character."
We take pride in maintaining a consistent, professional appearance as a group and in doing so, subscribe to being a member of something bigger than ourselves.
Requirements for wearing a LSE Marching Knight Uniform:
Long black socks and black marching shoes must be worn. White socks or short black socks are unacceptable.
Secondaries (black marching band show shirt and black shorts) are to be worn at all times when wearing the uniform.
Hair must be worn inside of your hat.
Pants should hang straight down with no “bunching” at the bottoms. Any wear from scraping the ground will not be covered by warranty.
Jewelry is not allowed. That means no necklaces, rings, watches, bracelets, etc. Earrings must be taken out or covered with a band-aid.
Jackets must be buttoned and zipped at all times. Make sure the collar is clipped. There will be times where students are allowed to unzip their jacket or take their hat off as circumstances change. Any necessary changes as to how we wear our uniform will be made at the discretion of directors.
Hats are to be worn low at ear-top and eyebrow level, not tilted back. Chin straps should be buckled and snug so the hat does not move around while marching.
Gloves should fit snugly, not loose and sloppy. They are to be washed periodically by the student.
